Project Summary: We completed specialist floor repair works at the CFUK banana ripening factory, focusing on restoring damaged areas within the warehouse facility.

The warehouse floor had previously contained approximately 900 linear metres of concrete kerbs, which had been removed. This removal process left significant damage across the concrete slab, requiring extensive preparation and repair to reinstate a durable and functional surface.

Our works began with mechanically grinding the affected areas to a depth of approximately 8mm, ensuring all damaged and weakened material was removed. This preparation created a suitable substrate for the repair system and ensured optimal bonding.

The prepared areas were then reinstated using DCP Cemflow Industrial, a high-performance cementitious repair material designed for heavy-duty industrial environments. This provided a smooth, level, and structurally sound finish across all treated sections.

To complete the system, we applied a dust-proof gloss coating, enhancing surface durability while delivering a clean, sealed finish suitable for the operational demands of the facility.

The completed works restored the integrity of the warehouse floor, improving both its performance and longevity in a high-traffic industrial setting.
